Aurin appeared in the Western Realms recently and nobody quite knows where from. They are a fairly short, nature loving folk with a natural affinity to magic as well as being nimble and smart, though pretty physically weak and somewhat immature. They immediately made friends with many Nymphs and to a lesser degree Elves, but their harmless nature has endeared them to most other Races, or at least those that respect life enough not to be angered by these often annoying and silly beings. In Aurin societies 'being really mean' is considered to be a serious offence, which demonstrates an innate naivety.

Females tend to be taller and calmer, while males are typically more highly strung. Their societies are matriarchal, with the leader of each community know as the "Matria". All Aurin are able to interact with the 'Weave' which they believe is a life force that interconnects all living beings. Some posit that this is related to the Balance and elemental forces which Druids command, others disagree...

Aurin are quiet distinctive due to their large ears which can vary dramatically with rabbit-like, bat-like and all manner of others beings in evidence. They also have long, prehensile tails which are quite furry and the same colour as the hair on their heads.

Notes: Aurin may "weave" either health, speed or mana, boosting their regeneration of HP, SP or MP for 30 minutes. This may only be activated whilst outdoors in forest, hills or plains.
